Boys Boys Boys

It amazes me how many girls really play games with the male species. I'm not saying I've never done it, but I was younger, more incompetent, more helpless, and let’s just face it, more naive. But I'm 23 now and I'm still watching friends of mine get dicked over by girls that feel that playing games, or not calling when they say they're going to is just making all the guys bitter. I can't stand the male-bashing and the cynicism and how some women feel they are completely helpless and don't know how to get a man that's worthy of their presence. I'm sorry ladies, get off your asses and make shit happen. How many times can you sit and complain that you don't have a guy around, then when you get set up or you meet someone through a friendly outing and have a good time, then you play games and you don't call, and lets face it, you make girls like me look like crap. Why do you play these games? I know the boys play games sometimes, but they're not doing it because they're trying to make you nuts, they're doing it cause they don't even realize that there's a game going on. The boys don't always see what's going on. We're getting too old for this bullshit. So girls, seriously, stop playing the games. Don't say yes when you mean no. Don't ask a boy who really likes you to fix your computer when you know they're just going to be let down later. If you want to meet a nice guy get off your butt, get outside, go hang out where great guys hang out, specific bars, political action activities, the grocery store, the bookstore, the cafe, the frickin AU law library for god sake. Just stop your bitching and all your thoughtless games.

Hey, I recently read that trendy book "He's Just Not That Into You" I thought it was very interesting and fairly true.. EXCEPT for the section saying that girls should not ask out guys.. that is sooo wrong

Yea Barry, that book He's Just Not That Into You is moderately chauvinistic. Leave it to a man to tell women how to behave. And I agree, girls should definitely ask guys out, I think the author is stuck in the 1950's.
