Weather is Nutty

Some people say that the weather affects attitudes and behavior. To some extent this is fact. Multiple studies have been done explaining how weather affects individuals depending on their moods, personality and whether or not they're taking any medication. I'm too lazy at the moment to begin citing different social scientists. However, I would like to mention that the weather in DC is absolutely nutty. It's been in the high 50's and rainy recently and will be in the upper 90's this coming weekend. No wonder I'm sick.

The differences I've noticed since moving from Phoenix to Washington are great. I am normally and annoyingly happy person most of the time, but living in Phoenix made it that much greater. Living in the sunshine all day everyday was so much fun. All this rain in DC makes me more quiet and subdued, more mellow to say the least. Most people, especially Alex will disagree that I'm never quiet or mellow. The sun shines in the district but never fails to leave as quickly as it comes. Sunny days are not normal occurrences around here. Sometimes I just miss the sun so much that I get a little homesick.

Just wait until summer gets here. You'll not only have more sun than you'll know what to do with, you'll notice that the D.C. sun has a constant companion that the Phoenix sun does not; stifling humidity.

Yours truly,
Mr. X
